The last time I was this concerned about a health issue was October 2018 when I’d missed two menstrual periods and felt very much pregnant. Though excited, I was also realistic at 44 years old and had already put the baby clothes away and more importantly endured a serious prenatal condition in all of my previous pregnancies which had me dizzy, nauseas, and vomiting round the clock. I couldn’t endure another pregnancy and felt nervous to possibly be so.
I grazed on these for a lovely Saturday 🙂 My morning apple dipped in almond butter and cup a tea had the addition of two cacao butter cannabis capsules and an hour later welcomed a subtle feel that lasted 2 hours. Another couple capsules brought on a gentle, graceful buzz that had me sitting up straighter and breathing in deeper.
I interviewed my husband, Tomas, to help other couples better understand each other when one, or both, is healing with The Body Ecology Diet (B.E.D.). When I met Tomas in 2011, I’d been on stage 1 of B.E.D. for a year to clear a stubborn systemic case of yeast overgrowth that was causing multiple health issues.
I was nervous that by sharing my body, I’d be re-exposed to yeast and bacteria from his own health issues and need to start my healing process over again.
At the time, I was a single mother working as a therapeutic chef and placenta encapsulationist and studying nutrition each evening in a graduate program. I was busy. Working his health/dietary needs was an added strain I’d do again in a heartbeat for eating the body ecology way brought us into balance (in more ways than one). I wish the same for you and your own intimate relationships.
Most floss is toxic because it is made from nylon, a petroleum-based product, coated with a Teflon synthetic resin – think nonstick cookware – called PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene). Both are carcinogenic and can cause cancer, arthritis, altered immune response, thyroid disease, hyperactivity, hormone imbalance, and reduced fertility.
When I first heard this, I thought “how can a piece of floss cause so many issues?”
Here’s the short version of why certain kinds of floss can harm …. floss that contains PTFE can leave traces of chemicals in your mouth that will either be swallowed or absorbed into your bloodstream through the thin mucosa lining of your mouth; especially if you floss once or twice a day for years on end as many of us do.
