I’ve done colonics since college and really got into them again in my 30’s, after being diagnosed with yeast overgrowth when a friend lent me The Body Ecology Diet (B.E.D.). This book had a chapter on colon cleansing to balance the body of excess pathogenic yeast, bacteria, and viruses …. all right up my alley!

Of all the supplements The Body Ecology Diet (B.E.D.) carries, livamend is my favorite. Next would be assist enzymes and third, Ancient Minerals.
I love watching a person when I tell them what I put in my smoothies. This is good stuff! Had I not tried it, I’d have stuck my nose up at the idea of adding parsley, lettuce, or zucchini for that matter. I’m telling you the blend works and tastes good too.
Parsley is an herb rich in vitamin A, vitamin K, folate, beta-carotene, calcium, iron, antioxidants, and essential oil. Health benefits include inhibiting cancer, detoxifying, anti-inflammatory, immune booster, building bone, and removing gallstones (contains oxalic acid/kidney cleanser). Traditionally, parsley has been used to remedy anemia, bad breath, and menstrual pain.
I found The Body Ecology Diet (B.E.D.) in 2010 and haven’t looked back since. I like everything about this diet … from its yin/yang roots to the principle of food combining to the laid back approach you are unique, do what feels good.
There’s a relaxation here that I’ve yet to find/feel in another diet. A place to come home to. As a Holistic Nutritionist for those practicing B.E.D., I’m often asked which supplements to take. My answer, almost every time, is “check out the body ecology store“. I like their products and have taken most of them myself at one point; as have my husband and kids.

Every spring, the liver organ moves into a major detoxification phase. During this brief season, you have the power of nature behind you; making spring a PERFECT time to cleanse.
Any time is a good time to take the burden off your liver. You don’t have to wait for spring. It’s just that during spring your body will naturally go into

Castor oil is both gentle and potent and has the ability to absorb into your skin and various other organs to relieve pain, increase circulation, decrease inflammation, and bring healing to specific parts of the body. One easy way to get all these benefits is with a ‘castor pack’.
My first time doing a pack was after my youngest was born in 2007. I did one every day that first week home from the hospital to get my uterus back in shape. Heavenly! Year later, I used it again for chronic bloating and constipation I was having from yeast overgrowth. A saving grace providing tremendous relief (my castor pack + B.E.D., digestive enzymes, minerals, boluses, and unsalted probiotic food got my health back on track). ❤️
