As a woman, I must share this smoothie with you; easy-to-make, delicious, and a vibrant color! I first heard about green vegetable smoothies in 2011 when I used The Body Ecology Diet (B.E.D.) to heal a stubborn case of systemic yeast overgrowth and though I took time to ease into making them, I was hooked once I did.
I’ve made young green coconut kefir (yck) for going on 10 years and have moved through many learning curves. As a result, I can now whip up a batch of this delicious drink in much less time then I once did and with zero frustration. I hope my tips ‘n tricks help you be ready to dive in. I found The Body Ecology Diet (B.E.D.) in 2010 and haven’t looked back since. I like everything about this diet … from its yin/yang roots to the principle of food combining to the laid back approach you are unique, do what feels good.
There’s a relaxation here that I’ve yet to find/feel in another diet. A place to come home to. As a Holistic Nutritionist for those practicing B.E.D., I’m often asked which supplements to take.
