How I Make “Raw Liver Pills”

Wonder what the rave is about with these red pills? They’re a no-fuss, flavorless way to eat liver! Easy as taking a multi-vitamin; hardest part is just getting in the kitchen to make them. See here for how my family eats liver.

It’s very important to source pasture-raised liver for this recipe. Even better, raise the animal yourself or buy from local farmer who freezes the liver immediately after slaughtering.

Do NOT use conventional supermarket liver. You are consuming these raw, and conventional liver can’t be trusted and is a health risk.

How I Do Castor Packs

Castor oil is both gentle and potent and has the ability to absorb into your skin and various other organs to relieve pain, increase circulation, decrease inflammation, and bring healing to specific parts of the body. One easy way to get all these benefits is with a ‘castor pack’.

My first time doing a pack was after my youngest was born in 2007. I did one every day that first week home from the hospital to get my uterus back in shape. Heavenly! Year later, I used it again for chronic bloating and constipation I was having from yeast overgrowth. A saving grace providing tremendous relief (my castor pack + B.E.D., digestive enzymes, minerals, boluses, and unsalted probiotic food got my health back on track). ❤️ read more

Benefits of Young Coconut Kefir & Pudding

Young green coconut kefir is made from the lightly sweet ‘water’ found inside a Thai baby coconut. You can also make a coconut pudding from the tender meat found in a Thai baby coconut. I have found best success with making both with Body Ecology’s starter*.

The kefir and the pudding are digestive aids that are rich in magnesium, calcium, essential fatty acids, and beneficial flora (aka probiotics). They are also much cheaper, and effective, than a probiotic supplement read more

As a Holistic Nutritionist, I consider liver to be the

Get Cultured: The Benefit of Unsalted, Probiotic Food

The cultured food I am talking about here does not contain salt …. cultured buttercreme fraichecoconut kefir, cultured vegetables; all living foods made with probiotic starter*. NO salt. See more about that bit here.

When you eat unsalted, cultured food, the probiotics in them will go into your gut/inner ecosystem and set up shop where they make babies, grow in population, and essentially build micro-cities the size of New York City in a matter of hours. No joke. Once they settle into your gut lining they are in a position to support you in various beneficial ways.
