FAQ for Intuitive Readings

What is the best way to prepare for a reading?

You might want to write up questions ahead of time. If your session is by phone, you might want to make a cup of tea and use the restroom before situating yourself in a quiet, comfortable spot where you won’t be interrupted by kids or animals. You are welcome to record your reading.

I have never had a reading, what should I expect?

You will find my approach to be gentle and direct. I like to shed light on complex situations and take the necessary time to process and explain what I receive, so that you understand. I usually close my eyes and enter an altered state of consciousness during a reading, and though I am 100% aware of what is going on, and being said, I am not always able to recall details once our reading is complete.

Will you give examples of an intuitive reading?

~ I met with a client and saw a pair of bright colored running shoes. I heard the words “hit the ground running” and felt sweat on my face, a lightness in my body. Turned out she used to be a runner and had bought running shoes months ago but hadn’t taken them out of the box. After our session she went running.

~ I met with a client and my back went straight as a broomstick. My posture was amazing, I couldn’t move out of the position nor did I want to. I felt great! I voiced this and she laughed, saying her nickname was ‘posture girl’ due to her fantastic posture from years of ballet training. She got off our phone call excited to sign up for dance class and reclaim this part of herself.

~ I met with a client who asked about a skin rash. I was immediately drawn to the area and ‘felt’ heat and roughness. I ‘tasted’ chocolate and wanted to spit it out, I ‘saw’ a cucumber and felt a cooling sensation in my body, I ‘heard’ a list of foods to eat and avoid.

~ I met with a client having difficulty motivating herself to lose weight. I saw her on kitchen floor curled in a ball crying. I asked if someone had recently died and she told me her husband had been killed 4 months ago. We talked about taking time to grieve and she cried tears that had been held in for a long time.

Will a deceased loved one come through during my reading?

There are times when a parent, grandparent, or other deceased loved one comes through. Yet, this is not a sure bet nor my specialty and so if this is your primary desire, please seek out someone specialized in mediumship; I highly recommend Phil Quinn.

How often do most book a reading?

Some people come once and go months before booking again. Others come on a regular basis until their need is satisfied; others just one time only. Really this all depends on what you have going on and how much time you need to integrate the ideas and suggestions received. Regardless, each session is complete as is.

Good morning Tara, I want to let you know our session made a potent imprint on my system. I feel deeply seen, in a way I may never have been seen in my life. I cannot thank you enough for your time and attention, and your skills. ~ J.B. San Francisco, CA

I am grateful for Tara’s teachings and guidance. She is someone I will always admire and respect for her commitment to help others like me make changes that will allow us a better and happier life. ~ S.M. Bogotá, Colombia
